Supporting partnership in Alberta and Jalisco, Mexico

The aim of the program is to provide assistance to for-profit SMEs from Alberta and Jalisco interested in entering into a joint project to develop strategic, industry-driven technology that involves novel and innovative products and materials leading to commercialization.

The program is designed to provide opportunities for Alberta and Jalisco SME’s to collaborate in technology development leading to commercialization opportunities and mutual benefit to both regions.

Success of the program correlates strongly with upfront company matching and hands-on approach to relationship building. Companies have benefited from participation through increased markets, revenues, products and services.

Alberta Innovates works with SMEs in matchmaking initiatives and engaging the Jalisco market. Alberta Innovates and State Council of Science and Technology of Jalisco are seeking to generate economic and social benefits for both Alberta and Jalisco.
