Open Data Areas Alberta Modernization

Alberta Data Partnerships Ltd. proposes to modernize and expand the Open Data Areas Alberta (ODAA) initiative, a provincially governed open geospatial data program. The project will refresh existing Open Data Areas and establish up to two new areas, integrating authoritative public datasets with targeted high‑value commercial Earth observation data. The modernized platform will provide standardized, quality‑assured, and openly licensed datasets, enhanced with Registered Interests on Titled Land (RITL), enabling consistent evaluation, innovation, and commercialization of geospatial and environmental intelligence across Alberta.
