Alberta Innovates is governed by a board of directors appointed by the provincial government. It steers the innovation system according to provincial priorities and its business goals.
The Alberta Regional Innovation Network (RIN) is comprised of organizations across the province that provide services and supports to Albertan technology and knowledge-based businesses.
As part of the Alberta Innovates group of companies, InnoTech Alberta and C-FER Technologies (C-FER) provide applied research services to industry and government.
