This project aims to develop and validate a novel in-situ installation method for Envirolock, using a re-engineered multi-axis winder to retrofit existing pipelines without requiring shutdowns. The work will be carried out in two phases: an engineering phase (Jan–Dec 2025) focused on prototyping, equipment customization, and regulatory preparation, followed by a demonstration phase (Jan–June 2026) that will test the system on a live high vapor pressure (HVP) pipeline. If successful, this will mark the first operational use of Envirolock in such a setting.
