Development of a real-time water quality sensor to measure hydrocarbons in water.
Project Description
This project aims to address the critical need for real-time water quality monitoring, particularly in the context of hydrocarbon detection in water resources. Currently, most water monitoring methods rely on periodic sampling, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and may not provide timely data on water quality variations. To overcome these limitations, our project proposes the development of a novel microwave-based sensing system capable of real-time, label-free, and low-cost monitoring of water quality.
