Overview

The Digital4Health (D4H) program is specifically designed to catalyze the pilot-testing, evaluation, and adoption of technology-enabled care models by cultivating partnerships between Health Service Delivery Partners (HSDPs) and digital health Technology Service Providers (TSP).

As a challenge-driven program, D4H provides an opportunity for Alberta-based HSDPs to address priority health system challenges through the implementation and real-world testing of promising digital health solutions to deliver health and economic value in Alberta.

This opportunity has the potential to introduce novel and more sustainable care models to catalyse the transformation of the health system to be more sustainable and citizen centric. Through a process of collaboration, the HSDP and TSP can generate evidence that will facilitate adoption and scale of technology-enabled care models.

Challenge Model

D4H is a challenge-driven program. Challenge statements are needs-driven and provide unique opportunities for applicants to leverage digital health solutions across the continuum of care to implement and test technology-enabled care models. To learn about current D4H Challenges and how to apply, see the “Current Challenges” link above the “Documents and Resources” below.
